Judy Guffey, Dental Hygienist
I have been in dentistry since 1981 when I started as a dental assistant. After 13 years, I returned to school and received my degree in dental hygiene in 1995. Dentistry is a field that has allowed me the opportunity to serve people here and abroad. My career has taken me to Turkey, Germany, and Guatemala. I live for my annual mission trip to Guatemala. I find the people there are the kindest and most accommodating group that I have had the pleasure of serving. Treating all my patients like family is my goal. It’s my desire that everyone in my care receives the best service I can give them.
Olga Kharchenko, Dental Hygienist
I received my dental hygiene degree abroad in 2007. I attained work experience in a dental clinic, and enjoyed volunteering in schools. I moved to the United States in 2013. I started my career as a registered dental assistant in Virginia and Texas. Then, in addition to my international degree, I worked to get an associate in applied science degree from an American dental hygiene program. I successfully graduated from the Blinn College in 2018. After graduating from Blinn College, I jumped right in to find my home at Rockdale Dental as a dental hygienist. I like to pay attention to details and desire to deliver the best care to my patients. I like being in dentistry because it is a profession that helps people stay healthy and feel good, and this is an important part of everyone’s life. I especially enjoy the daily challenges I encounter, my relationships with patients, and ensuring everyone has a healthy smile when they leave. Outside office, I love cooking, gardening and taking care of my adorable little blue parakeet.
